Do I tell a friend that I’m tired of her frugal nature?
She lets me pick up the tab for her birthday dinner but we pay for our own meals on mine, she tips poorly, does not spend more than $20 on any gift at any time, often doesn’t buy gifts (housewarming or sympathy despite my having acknowledged both for her) and doesn’t sends thank you cards for the gifts she does receive. I’ve known her since we were little and I’m tired of being disappointed by her ‘cheap’ behaviour. She and her husband make very good money so it’s not a question of her not having enough to spend.
No you don’t tell your friend such a thing unless you don’t want to be friends anymore. It doesn’t sound like you are tired of her frugal nature, but you are tired of spending money on her – you just need to stop spending on her and expecting thanks. You’ve gone a long time as a friend and I’m surprised that you are still disappointed – it seems like you didn’t learn how she is after the first few times and keep expecting more from her. Stop expecting more, stop wanting something back and you’ll be less disappointed. Sorry, but I don’t think you have cause for disappointment. She may have very important reasons for her spending habits and it’s not for you to question unless she mooches on you and it doesn’t sound like she has. Stop giving gifts, stop paying for birthday dinner and you’ll be far less disappointed. By the way, does anybody send thank you cards anymore? I understand your frustration, that you keep giving and she doesn’t return your generosity, but it is your generosity that really is the problem and you keep expecting her to do the same. I know first hand how you feel – I knock myself out with gifts to my family and I never receive a thank you, never an acknowledgement, never anything and for a few years it broke my heart and I suffered great disappointment. I finally realized that I would never get what I wanted from them and I didn’t try so hard to please them after that. It was the best thing I could have done, I no longer feel that disappointment you are feeling. Let it go and let it go.

Have Fun with Easy Guitar Tabs
Acquiring a new skill takes time and practice and these two qualities are ones with which all guitarists are very familiar. To learn the guitar, students must dedicate a large amount of time to learning how to place their fingers properly on the strings and which positions are used to create notes and chords. These things may not come naturally and they may even be quite uncomfortable for a period of time. In order to become comfortable and to be able to strike these positions quickly students must also put in a great deal of practice. The learning process, for some, is enough excitement to provide motivation to keep going though the road may be tough. For others, however, additional incentive is needed to encourage regular practice and to keep the process exciting. A great way to add some excitement and to change up your practice routine is to include a few easy guitar tabs. Doing so can make a big difference in how you view your practice sessions and the way you view these sessions impacts how much you get out of them.
If your regular practice sessions consist mainly of running through notes, chords, and scales over and over again you may quickly become bored and lose interest in playing the guitar entirely. By adding an easy guitar tab or two to your routine you can regain your excitement for your instrument, all by making a slight alteration of your practice session. Easy guitar tabs provide guitarists who do not read standard notation with a way to read how a song is played. Composed of six horizontal lines, guitar tabs are set up on a staff that mimics the six strings of the guitar. Numbers are printed on the lines to indicate which fret is to be pressed and the line on which the number is printed indicates which string to use. Easy guitar tabs can include anything from simple melodies to beginner-level versions of popular songs. As you learn to read and play guitar tablatures you will find yourself once again engaged in your practice sessions and your skills for recognizing and striking chords will rapidly develop. If you are bored with your current practice routine, throw in a beginner guitar tabs and see how much things can change. You may be surprised at how exciting practicing the guitar can be when you use some easy guitar tabs to add a little bit of interest.
