Is there any difference between vitamins u get from tablets and vitamins you get from fruits and vegetables?
There is a big difference. Unless you buy vitamins that are plant based you are buying vitamins with synthetic ingredients. Fruits and veggies offer natural sources for vitamins, but keep in mind, our soil in this country is depleted of minerals and vitamins so your fruit has less than you need. You need to take a daily vitamin that is organic and liquid. I recommend Peter Gillham’s liquid vitamins. Buy them at www.vitacost.com It will run you 20 a month but well worth it
Note: You are fooling yourself if you think you can get all your vitamins from your food. Plenty of research is out there proving you are lacking even if you eat 10 servings of fruits and veggies a day. There is no way to get the amount you need unless you eat something all day everyday. A vitamin that is plant based makes sense. It doesn’t mean you can skip out on your fruits and vegetables. You still need the fiber and the nutrients they provide that vitamins can’t.

Vitamin tablets – are they as good as real vitamins or a poor temporary substitute?
They tell you to intake more iron for example, so people take iron tablets, would it not be better to eat plenty of the food stuff that contains iron, as this way is more ‘natural’ – or am I not making sense?
for people like me who rarely eat anything, much less eat anything healthy, vitamin supplements are really nice to add to the diet.
