Have you tried Resveratrol? Pill or Liquid?
It is an anti-aging anti-obesity pro long life supplement touted by Dr. Oz on the Oprah show. It comes in liquid and pill form. Anyone try it long term and did you see benefits? There are an awful lot of free offers with Oprah and Dr. Phil and Barbara Walter’s face on the ad but the problem is they keep sending you more Resveratrol unless you cancel and who knows they will accept your cancellation? I prefer CVS (liquid)or Walgreens (capsule) which carries it in my area.
Do some research on the ingredients and side effects, contraindications, etc online. Then talk to a couple of pharmacists. Most pharmacists will talk to you on the phone and give excellent advise. Have ready any medications you are taking including over the counter meds. If something sounds too good to be true it usually is and Oprah has been on the carpet regarding her medical advise. I do think Dr Oz knows what he is talking about but I have serious doubts about Dr Phil (have you checked his college background and credentials-very interesting) and Barbara Walters is nothing but an interviewer and TV personality who can afford millions of work on her face before Resveratrol was on the market.
Be wary of ads like this. It is up to you to do the research so do it thoroughly and responsibly. Anytime you are in doubt, ask a pharmacist. I would be very wary of something that claims to be both anti-aging and anti-obseity in the same tabletl/liquid. Has enough research been done? Ask all the questions you can think of before you proceed with ordering this or anything like it.

Fat and ESTROGEN!?
I’m 21 year old, having higher levels of estrogen, and my questions is if it would be SAFE for a 20 year old guy to take nettle root, chrysin -anti-aromatase, resveratrol-anti aromatase, or maca root in order to boost testosterone levels and prevent any fat buildup and decrease gynecomastia.
It’s very hard for me to bulid muscle, and feel energetic. However, when I take resveratrol and maca, I can feel my waist disappering, and gynecomastia going down. When I stop, it goes back up again.
What would YOU recommend?
I would say that it would be much wiser to consult doctors about this. Because something is natural, it doesn’t mean that it’s completely safe or even right for you. Like prescription medications, homeopathics can cause problems if certain conditions are present.
You could consult someone who deals in natural remedies, but speaking to physicians also would be a wise thing to do.
