French Bulldog Puppy food – Natural Balance Organic is good or can you recommend any other?
I have been feeding my French bulldog puppy Natural Balance Organic. I notice wet stools and the puppy has some flatulence. Has anyone experienced this? Is there any other better quality food I can use for my puppy? How is Innova, Solid Gold compared to it?

Innova/Solid Gold – which dry food formula?
I personally recommend Natural Balance as a good dog food to give every dog. However, their organic formula is the only one i have an issue with really. Because it is a formula based on organic supplements such as veggies and the like, they tend to give dogs gas and wet stools. I personally recommend the ones based entirely on protein as the better choce. Their Venison and Duck formulas are very good and healthy for picky eaters but if you dog just likes to eat, i’d go for the ultra formula. Its the bag with the dark blue outlines and is recommended for all ages. This is the one I use now and i’ve never had an issue with gas or wet stools in teh time i’ve used it. If you’d like, you can try Canidae Dog Food or Wellness which are just as good but also, based on a protein formula. People tried to adjust their dogs to their type of eating with things like feeding more veggies or starches than protein. Sometime, organic diets are the cause of illness. True, for humans its healtier but dogs need protein. In teh wild, wolves eat anything and everything their prey has to offer. Bones, meat, organs, etc. Their diet is practically an all protein diet. That is the way most large and medium breed dogs must be raised. Protein for them is the best ingredient you can give them. Depending what kind of dog you have, you could also try Royal Canin. They are a good company with good food. Natural Balance, Wellness, Canidae, and Royal Canin are the best ones i’ve seen on teh market for large breeds.
Also, you mentioned he was a pup. PUPS NEED PROTEIN ORIENTED DIETS to help them grow and develop. Sorry to sound a little too insisting, but i’ve seen the difference in dog foods and formulas. For a long time, all I fed was IAMS chunks to all my dogs, big and small. One day, i found Natural Balance and Royal Canin and i saw how their stools changed for the better, harder and less smelly. Also, i saw how their temperments changed and that they were less prone to infections of any kind. Also, i had one with an ear infection that would come and go regularly. With a little medicine (same one I always used before) and the new diet, he hasn’t had an ear infection in years.

Where can I get Natural Balance cat food by Parkersburg, WV?
I’m going to be moving to Parkersburg and I don’t want to have to order Natural Balance cat food online, just wondering if anybody in that area knew where I could get it without having to travel more then 30 min away. I use the pea and duck or the pea and chicken kinds. If there isn’t anywhere do you know the online store with the cheapest shipping rates?
There aren’t any Petcos or Petsmarts close to that area, that was the first thing i checked.
