A paradox is a self-contradictory statement that seems at first sight to be logically but on closer examination seems to be just the opposite.

On the other hand, a natural healer would advise you to drink more water, chew your food more thoroughly, get a little exercise and eliminate stress through meditation. It might tell you to remove offending foods from your diet. It might then suggest taking the supplement MSM fight against the formation of scar tissue in the esophagus who made repeated attacks of acid reflux. The drug companies are working together with the FDA right now to pass legislation that would limit our ability to get natural supplements. It's really a paradox that natural supplements have a history of far fewer side effects than pharmaceutical drugs, but the FDA, the AMA and all other medical associations would benefit This freedom of choice away from us. I tend to think that we all learn more about physical healing and we're fighting for our right to be able to heal us.
It is certainly a paradox that some herbs, roots, twigs and other natural ingredients used in medicine for thousands of years, could now be made illegal. It is in this paradox that most prescription drugs are synthetic forms of the originals and are controlled by powerful companies. big industry wants to make impossible for us to heal. Is not this a paradox?
