How many calories a day should I start to eat to gain muscle, but minimize the accumulation of fat?
Well, for starters I have 17 years of age, men and 6 "1. My current weight is about 128 kilos, down, I know. I'm wanting to start doing weights, but I'm not sure how many calories should I eat to maximize muscle gain, but to minimize fat gain in the process. I am currently eating about 1600 calories a day to regulate the weight of my body. If I meet until about 2000?
Gaining weight and muscle is a two step process: you have to eat more and lift weights or do some type of strength training routine. The most important rule to remember, if you want to gain weight is to eat more calories than you burn. Only so can your body use the excess energy to build muscle. Weight Gain is as simple as eating more than you burn, but if you want to gain muscle, you also need exercise. If you just ate more without lifting weights, just gain fat and become unhealthy and overweight. When you lift weights (or participate in any training of force) is actually causing some damage to the muscles. When you rest, your body uses extra calories to repair and rebuild muscles. When this process is complete, the muscle is stronger and a little bigger than before. Obviously you will not notice a difference immediately, but over time you will be getting stronger and bigger. You need to keep your diet clean to gain the kind of weight. Stay away from sweet and simple food carbohydrates like candy, foods made with white flour, baking soda and other junk. These foods promote fat storage, something that is not necessary. Stick to foods made from wheat flour, oatmeal, brown rice, lean protein sources (chicken, some cuts of beef, fish), nuts, beans, vegetables and smoothies protein – yum yum. How can you minimize the loss of muscle when you can not work for a month or two?
im almost 16 and I drive up to 4-5 times one week and taking protein and creatine cycle. im 6 'and weighs approximately 180% and have a very low body fat (I run a lot because I play lacrosse midfielder). The problem is, in about a month since my family is moving from OH to CO and probably have access to a usual weightroom 1 or 2 months. How do I can minimize or prevent loss of muscle mass / strength during this time?
You will lose muscle mass and strength. It will be easy to win again if you stay active, but do not expect to keep it.
