Lowers cholesterol have an effect on blood pressure?
I know that people can lower their cholesterol with diet well (fruits, vegetables, fiber) and some supplements. But this has any effect on lowering blood pressure too much? Both are risk factors for cardiovascular disease. But is there a direct correlation, ie, cholesterol decreased by 8, and mean arterial pressure also drops.

The relationship of cholesterol with heart disease, called "hypotheses of lipids, "is still hotly debated. Elevated levels of lipoprotein fractions, LDL, IDL and VLDL are considered atherogenic (prone to cause atherosclerosis). [Citation needed] The levels of these fractions, rather than the total cholesterol level is correlated with the magnitude and progression of atherosclerosis. By In contrast, total cholesterol may be within normal limits, however, consists primarily of small LDL particles and small HDL, which conditions atheroma growth rates would still be very high. Primary prevention in women is practiced only by the extent of the findings in studies of men [9], as in women, no major statin trials has shown a reduction in overall mortality or cardiovascular end points.
