I have been diagnosed with Anxiety and Mild Depression,Please read on.?
Its only been a week since the diagnosis and I feel better mentally due to medication (thanks God) ,but my body feels like its run a marathon and my muscles and joints ache and I have been like that for a while….I was wondering what I can do to relieve this and make myself feel energetic as I want to do things around the house and go out.

I felt you suffered from that many months after I first met you.
You seemed to have way too much on your plate and were on the go quite a bit. This is a common trait of us over achievers, the kind of person apearing as outgoing and that everything is great in our lives, until there may be some small changes in our lifestyle, family relationships or situation, even a job change or a change in job duties. We tend to pile a lot on our plate, tend to appear as if we “got it right”, appear organized and all around are a totally good functioning person.
Your medication will take about 3 weeks to start to “kick” in then you will or should begin to feel more like your good old self.
You could also be suffering from “McDonalds Syndrome”, perhaps you haven’t been visiting your local McDonalds as you were before and need a “fix”. Also, besides any other changes in your routine or lifestyle, any changes in your diet will affect you too.
Perhaps a couple of Big Macs will also help you too, JoAnne.
Let’s go to McDonalds….I’m feeling a bit anxious and I feel a panic attack coming on.
Or maybe I’ll just pop a Xanax or two and I should feel fine in 15 minutes.
Panic attacks, anxiety and depression…a terrible feeling…isn’t it?

I am a 19 year old female whose mother, aunt, and grandmother all have thyroid disease. They did
not develop theirs until at least there thirties, two suffer from hypo and one from hyper, ones is
serious while the others are easily controlled through prescription. I have suffered with depression,
joint pain, and fatigue. Lately fatigue, I feel tired all day even after a full nights sleep, has been my
biggest symptom. Does this warrant enough to schedule a doctor’s appointment? Thank you!
Yes You should go in and get tested TSH is just a simple blood draw and test then you can get on top of it, sounds like you are a bit hypothyroid.Good Luck.
