What are some home recipes for hair conditioning or skin care?
I need any home remedies or recipes for improving hair/skin care without buying name brand or store products. Just stuff you can use around the house. Like I heard egg and mayonaise to leave in your hair for and hour and rinse but with shampoo?? And do you style it normally or wait? Clear instructions would also help.

3 Simple Ways to Remove Ingrown Hairs in Pubic Region
Ingrown hairs in pubic region develops when pubic hair grows sideways and gets embedded in the skin instead of growing out vertically from pubic hair follicles. As a result, pores get clogged, allowing bacteria to grow and form pubic pimples. These pubic pimples may cause a lot of discomfort with all the pain and itching that it brings. Worst of all, some of them may leave permanent scars after they have healed.
Causes of Ingrown Hairs in the Pubic Region
The number one cause of ingrown hairs in the pubic region is shaving with a low quality pubic shaver. If you plan to use shaving as a long term method to remove your pubic hair, you need to invest in a solid pubic shaver. Pubic hair removal methods like waxing and tweezing may also cause ingrown hairs as long as hair is broken off under the skin.
Other causes of ingrown pubic hair include:
- Tight underwear or pants
- Dry skin
- Course, curly or stiff hair
- Pubic hair follicles that are clogged with oil or dead skin cells
Treating Ingrown Hairs in the Pubic Region
There are a couple of ways you could treat ingrown pubic hair. The first method requires you to apply a hot cloth or hot compress on your ingrown pubic hair. This is a common method to deal with inflammation but it also helps to soften the pubic hair under your skin so that it may rise above the surface. If the ingrown hairs do not surface after a couple of of minutes, repeat a couple of more times. Should the problem persist%, try again in a couple of hours or another day as the pubic hair may not be long enough for you to extract. Whatever happens, you should never attempt to force or squeeze the hair out in any way as this may cause bleeding and permanent scars.
Once you are able to see a tiny part of the ingrown hair on the surface of your skin, use a pair of sterilized tweezers to pull out the hair. Wash your pubic region, towel dry and apply some antiseptic cream to prevent infections.
Another method of removing ingrown pubic hair is the use of a hair removal cream that is certified safe to use on your pubic region by your dermatologist or pharmacist. These lotions help to dissolve the ingrown pubic hairs under your skin without causing further skin irritation.
3 Things You Should Not Do After Your Treatment
It is important that you avoid wearing any tight underwear or pants until all your ingrown hairs have completely healed. If you find that you tend to develop ingrown pubic hairs just by wearing tight clothes, I suggest that you purchase clothes made of softer material or totally scrapping tight clothes from your wardrobe to prevent ingrown hairs.
Skin exfoliation with a shower sponge is big no no when you have ingrown pubic hair. Scrubbing your sensitive skin when you have pubic pimples will only make them worse. There are specialized waxing products for the removal of ingrown pubic hairs. However, you must not use them on your pubic region if you have pubic pimples.

What vitamin/ supplements are good for skin, hair and nails?
I’m trying to grow my hair and I’ve heard that having healthy hair helps it grow faster and that there are certain supplements that help hair skin and nails. Could anyone help?
I started taking supplements for my hair about 6 months ago and since then my hair has gone from my shoulders to my mid back, which is way faster than it used to grow.
I take Carlson’s fish oil (the fish oil is really good for healthy hair and skin), and i take biotin, silica, and msm.
All are separate so total i take 2 teaspoons of fish oil, 1 biotin pill, 2 silica pills and 1 msm pill per day.
