How much would an eye appointment be with no health insurance?
I don’t have any insurance and I need to make an eye appointment. I need contacts and want to hopefully get a pair of glasses as well. How much does the average eye appointment cost? I want to go wherever is cheapest, which I’m guessing would be Walmart or somewhere like that. Also, how much do glasses cost on average, and contacts?
It really just varies, I think walmart’s basic eye exam is $50 or something like that? There are additional fees for contact exams, although I don’t know what they are. Costco, eyemasters and lenscrafters are good places to check for inexpensive glasses and contacts. Be sure to ask for rebates and/or cash discounts! : )

for the past week my right eye has felt really sore like I have soap or something in it . this to the degree that I have to close it. there is no discharge. no gritty feeling and its not red.
It might be an age related problem,(I have several) It could be that you have been too long in chlorinated water, but, it could be something more serious. I would go and the GP.
